a-mechaye , a five members klezmer band, based in Jerusalem and its outskirts, brings together musicians from different backgrounds , classical, jazz, ethnic, folk , and blues , who share the love for klezmer and together we try to find the place where tradition and contemporary influences communicate. we try to bring out the different colors and flavors that lay in the rich and diverse repertoire of the klezmer tradition
