The Aviram Gottfried Quartet was founded by Pianist Aviram Gottfried for the purpose of playing original compositions ranging in style from Jazz to Modern Classical music, electronic, Blues and Progressive Rock, with the goal of bridging old and new, ultimately bringing jazz and improvised music to younger audiences.

• Ishai Mordechai on bass

• 

  Born in 1979, Ishai is a musical leader or the first degree. He composes and improvises new music tirelessly and constantly.

  Ishai's technique is flawless, and his control over his vintage Jazzbass is so complete that he has been often referred to as a "1 man Jam Band".

• Other than the tremendous musical energy, Ishai contributes to the Quartet both his original compositions and his approach to arranging, which can be summed up as "make everything groovy".

• Boris Rasinsky on Drums

• Born in 1980, Boris is a musician.
  That is to say, he is not just a drummer. In fact, he's been a classical pianist longer than he's been a drummer.
  Boris composes music that falls somewhere between jazz, classical music and pop, and plays drums in groups ranging from straight-ahead jazz, R&B, progressive rock and is an invaluable asset ito any group he plays in, due to his inherent and studied musicianship.
  Boris also plays on drums of his own invention and construction;
  He enjoys retrofitting tam-tams to make snares, cutting snares in half horizontally and re-skinning them, and so on and so forth, in search of the perfect drum sounds for whichever production and musical style he's into at a particular time.

  Yoav Katzir, born in 1968, is like all members of the Aviram Gottfried Quartet, a 'musical-style-collector' kind of musician.
  He preforms almost daily with an Irish music ensemble, has composed music for films and plays and is possessed of a fast-and-furious guitar technique and sound that resemble an overly-melodic cross between John Scofield and the great Allan Holdsworth.
