OMLION aka DJ OM is Omer Benziony from Israel, currently lives in Berlin, Germany

In 2002 Omlion has started to play psychedelic Trance in Israel under the name DJ OM. He has played in several different party lines, but got known especially for playing often in the Moonsoon parties. During the time he developed his own special style which moves between progressive and full on (135-142 BPM). In 2006 DJ OM moved to north Germany where he plays under the name OMLION.

"Shalom and welcome to my space. I was born in Tel Aviv Israel in 1975. My profession is social work, but my love and passion for music kept me all the years close to the world of music.

I play mainly psychedelic and progressive Trance, yet I adjust my self in every set to the certain party energies. I open my self to all kinds of music, because I believe there are good tunes in each and every style. I have been also playing in parties which combine all kinds of music, emphasizing free dancing and pure natural energies.

During my traveling in India, I discovered the world of spiritualism and the world of electronic music. When I play I combine both worlds together because I believe music is connected to emotions and feelings. I play good vibes, happy and uplifting tunes, for creating a celebration on the dance floor. I don’t believe in a DJ coming to a party and playing with his ego instead of through his heart. When I play, I try to feel the crowd and to bring them, dancing and happy, to the trance experience.
