Thierry was born in the Southern French city of Marseille on the 21st of May 1964.
From a very young age terri took great interest in music and at the age of 11 began to take piano lessons at the conservatory. After completing his musical studies Thierry got accepted to the university and studied philosophy while continuing with his favorite hobby – music. He played in bars, restaurants and various events as a pianist. He joined many orchestras and bands and experimented with all musical styles until eventually developing his own innovative directions. "Music is a language connecting people of all countries and backgrounds" Thierry's words.
When Thierry met his wife after playing in bands for a long time, he wanted to focus on raising children and having a family. For this purpose he took a new and slightly different direction. He began playing and creating for children. He played for children what he played for adults and discovered how quickly they absorb the music as they do language and how responsive they are.
After marrying, Thierry moved to Paris, where his wife was living and started working in kindergartens. He taught and played a variety of instruments (drums, piano, flutes, harmonica and others).
It was one morning when Thierry found a box of colorful bells on the street that the use of bells became a part of his work and it was then that he discovered how much children love their sound and lovely colors. Terri developed a unique system of teaching note reading using color and sound.
When Thierry was asked to play in one of the nurseries close to the kindergarten he worked in, he felt confused. He really did not know what to do with such young children – they were only babies. He felt a need to play to them as he played to adults and he wasn’t wrong. Thierry played adaptations to various musical styles. He learned that such young children really enjoy such music and even move to the rhythm. The room went silent and the children appeared hypnotized. It was then that Terri realized the power and potential of music. It's natural for them to understand the language of music.
In 2006 Thierry went after his long term dream and moved to Israel with his whole family. His second son was born in Israel after 10 years of waiting; it was great happiness for all.
Today in Israel Thierry works as a musical instructor, at the Diada and in various children centers. He began writing songs 2 years ago, and this is how Ouh la la was born.
