Opera Singer Valeria Fubini - lyric soprano
Graduated in Singing at the Jerusalem University's Rubin Music Academy. She attained to masterclasses in singing at the Accademia " Hugo Wolf" in Aqcuasparta (Italy) under the guidance of renown artists such as Dietrich Fisher Dieskau, Raina Kabaivanska, Renata Scotto, Luciana Serra, Enzo Dara .
She made her debut in the role of "Countess"(Marriage of Figaro by W. A. Mozart) in october 1999 in Paris in a project of "La Cite' de la Musique", thereafter she sang the roles of Liu' in Puccini's Turandot,of Euridice in Monteverdi's Orfeo , of Giannetta in Donizzetti's Elisir D'amore (Jerusalem Opera Workshop), of Suor Genoveffa in Puccini's Suor Angelica ( Jerusalem Opera workshop) In 2001, 2002 she has sung in the Ensemble of " Jardin des Voix" held by Les Arts Florissants and she performed, in several tournees around France, the role of Cleopatra in Hendel's Julius Ceasar and other sacre baroque pieces.
Her repertoire of orchestral pieces includes Strauss Vier Lezte Lieder (in Perugia 2002), Requiem by Faure ( Tel Aviv 2001) Te Deum by Charpentier (Tel Aviv 2001), Magnificat by Bach (Tel Aviv 2002) Stabat Mater by Pergolesi ( Torino 2004), Stabat Mater by Boccherini ( Siena 2003- Jerusalem 2005),Mendelssohn's Lobgesang , Koronation Mass by Mozart ( Torino).
In 2006 Valeria participated on a project of " Unknown verist opera's" in association with the Italian Cultural Center of Tel Aviv and the Department of Musicology of the Hebrew University, directed by Pr. Jeoash Hirshberg. She as also appeared in numerous concerts performing German Lieder and French and Russian songs :she has been invited, among others, by International Festival Settembre Musica in Turin for a concert devoted to Israeli and Jewish composers.
In June 2005 she released a cd of classical Israeli Music for the discographic house "Velut Luna"in Italy.
