Givatayim Theatre is an elegant building on the corner of Hashalom Rd. and Yitzhak Rabin Rd., within the public campus formerly known as Jabra and currently called the Vered campus, was awarded the 1996 Rechter Prize for Architecture and has been highly praised for its impressive architectural structure. The Post Constructivist style of the building was designed by architects Bracha and Dr. Michael Chayutin .
 
The luxurious and spacious halls and foyers designed for the enjoyment of visitors create a pleasant and cultural atmosphere.
The building was inaugurated in July 1998 and since 1999 Givatayim Theatre has been a dynamic center of art and culture.

Givatayim Theatre includes:
Three halls TheGrand Hall, The "Arbelli-Almozlino Hall", and the Theatre Club.

Additional available spaces are the Theatre Sculpture Garden, an Amphitheatre, Foyers/Galleries and Seminar rooms.

Activities in the various halls:
· Cultural activities including plays, concerts, jazz performances, dance events, etc. preformed by  Israeli artists and artists from around the world.
· Conventions and events.

Galleries/Foyers:
In addition to the Theatre activities, the galleries/foyers hold exhibitions by Israeli and International artists.

Theatre Sculpture Garden is used for outdoor events, including municipal events. The garden is has a collection of sculptures by leading Israeli artists as well as changing exhibitions.

The Amphitheatre is situated at the front of the theatre and is used for youth activities and outdoor events.

Enjoying the best of all worlds
Visitors to Givatayim Theatre have the opportunity to be exposed to a multitude of artistic activities and benefit from all worlds - plays by the major Israeli theatres and theatre companies, the best dance groups, singers and musicians from Israel and from all over the world.

Festivals
In addition to regular activities Givatayim Theatre produces and hosts 4-5 annual festivals.

An International Center of Culture and Art
Givatayim Theatre has developed close ties with the foreign embassies in Israel. This cooperation has produced a variety of one-time performances by foreign artists at the theatre and art exhibitions at the theatre galleries.
The international activities at Givatayim Theatre include international festivals, performances and exhibitions produced by the theatre.

Availability, accessibility and free parking
Givatayim Theatre is only a several minute drive from the Hashalom interchange on the Ayalon freeway making access convenient for those arriving by public transport. Easy accessibility is available for the physically disabled from the parking lots to the halls. During the week from 6pm and on Fridays and Saturdays, parking in the lots adjacent to the Theatre is free of charge.
